School In Canada and the Point of View from Highschool Students

Now coming into late 2009 I have realized that our government has come to a lot of problems. For example, not only has our country went way over budget on the Olympics in Vancouver for 2010, but it has also resulted on tax raising on foods (candybars etc.) that never used to be taxed, aswell as its putting a crack down on our economy in B.C.
The school that I am currently going to and 11 others in the district may shut down, due to overpricing of the Olympics which will not only put a drop in our housing rates but many of the students will have to bus downtown to OLDER SCHOOLS! Which costs money to bus , and some students parents can't even afford it, because their parents are out of a job. I know people who may have to bus for an hour just to get to school because of closures.
My freind has to MOVE! because of the resection her dad can't support her which means she may have to move to a different part of the city or a different town. I know that if we could change the past in my own personal opinion the olympics would have been better off in a different country for 2010 until our economy was in a more stable state.
